About Me

Seth Overton was born and raised in Missouri, where he graduated from the University of Central Missouri with a Bachelor's Degree of Science in Education. Seth lives in Texas with his wife, Bethany, where he teaches high school English Language Arts and Reading. In his first novel, The Mortal Gate, he uses his experience and passion of story-telling and video games to create a LitRPG story that challenges readers to find the best in themselves. 

From the author, readers can expect novels and stories that will journey into the genres and subgenres of fantasy, science fiction, LitRPG and GameLit. The sequel to The Mortal Gate, titled The Primeval Maze, will be available for purchase soon!
